The CW is casting up their TWILIGHT/TRUE BLOOD wannabe series VAMPIRE DIARIES and have just gotten themselves a piece of Hollywood royalty. Steven R. McQueen – yes, the grandson of the late, great Steve – has joined the show and is playing “Jeremy”. Whoever the f*ck that is…

The show is based on a series of books by L.J. Smith. It revolves around a young woman whose torn between two vampire brothers. The brothers — one good, one evil — are battling for her soul, and the souls of her pals, family and the small town where they live.
