Well folks the New Year is only a couple days away so this past week it seems 2010 has been taking it’s time as it comes to a close. By that I mean the news on our genre has been scarce. Hell just yesterday we had not one, but two RED STATE updates for you guys! And guess what!! Not 24 hours later I’ve got yet another update for you all on Kevin Smith’s political horror romp.
Unlike yesterday’s updates, which dealt with gang bangs and lack of press for the flick, today’s update offers the latest good to come from the film. If you scroll on down below you’ll be able to scope out the latest one-sheet for RED STATE, which comes our way courtesy of Ma’s Meatloaf.
As you can see the newest poster is yet another character poster that introduces us to Melissa Leo’s ‘Sarah.’ Looking slightly devious huh? I’m still not sure what to think of RED STATE but considering I’m a big Kevin Smith fan I’m already planning on giving this one a shot.
Red State begins by following three horny high-school boys who come across an online ad from an older woman looking for a gang bang. Boys being boys, they hit the road to satisfy their libidinal urges. But what begins as a fantasy takes a dark turn as they come face-to-face with a terrifying “holy” force with a fatal agenda.
Along with Leo the flick also stars Michael Angarano, Kerry Bishe, Nicholas Braun, Kyle Gallner, John Goodman, Michael Parks, Kevin Pollak and Stephen Root. While an official release date for RED STATE is yet to be announced the film is scheduled to hit Sundance next month so expect plenty more updates soon!
