Leave it to Fincher and Zallian to constantly innovate…

In a pretty cool new marketing ploy, Sony has issued 18 character badges for THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO. You’ll meet not only the principals – which include Mikael Blomkvist (Daniel Craig), Lisbeth Salander (Rooney Mara), Martin Vanger (Stellan Skarsgaard) and Henrik Vanger (Christopher Plummer) – but also the secondary players, headed by Robin Wright, Embeth Davidtz, Joely Richardson and Steven Berkoff. Scroll down to meet the full cast!

Due around Christmastime, THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO dates back:

One fateful day several years ago, Harriet Vanger disappeared off the secluded island owned and inhabited by the powerful Vanger family. There was no corpse, no witnesses and no evidence. Nearly forty years later, investigative journalist Mikael Blomkvist (Daniel Craig) reluctantly accepts the unusual and seemingly unsolvable assignment of finding out what really happened to Harriet. Genius hacker, Lisbeth Salander (Rooney Mara) is drawn into the case and the two form a fragile alliance as they dig into the sinister past of the Vangers and find out just how far they’re prepared to go to protect themselves and each other.
