Underrated denuded man candy TV vet Christopher Meloni has, according to some scoopilating done by Bloody Disgusting, joined the cast of Screen Gems’ upcoming THE STEPFATHER remake. He joins a slew of smoking hotties including former “ER” vixen Sherry Stringfield, “Friday Night Lights” hottie outcast/murder accomplice Adrianne Palicki and under-appreciated older hottie Sela Ward along with Penn Badgley and “Nip/Tuch” man beef Dylan Walsh in a story revolving around a psychotic who insinuates himself into families in the titular role and proceeds to terrorize the shit out of them. Meloni’s character is unknown as yet but the guy’s the cat’s meow so he’ll do some good stuff with whatever’s he’s given. He can next be seen in the stoner sequel HAROLD AND KUMAR ESCAPE FROM GUANTANAMO BAY.
