Messengers Trailer

After awhile, it’s hard not to believe some of the bad press that The Pang Brothers’ THE MESSENGERS has been receiving. Yes, it’s hard to believe anything The Pang Brothers do could be anything less than great, but with reports of reshoots by different directors, on top of the fact that the film’s slated for a February release… to put it lightly, the flick’s aiming to be a p.o.s., and it’s not even close to being released yet.


But the new trailer that Apple has up is actually pretty cool looking, and regardless of what’s been going on behind the scenes, I’d say it definitely has promise. Maybe it’ll be the sleeper hit of February- let’s not forget that EMILY ROSE pulled the same February release card, and happened to pack quite the punch. So who knows…


If you click HERE you can check out trailer… but only between the hours of 10pm and 5am. Yeah, you read right… you can only watch this bad boy in the dead of night. Doesn’t say what time zone it’s going by, so I guess if you wait until midnight, you’ll be ok where ever you live.


I’m not sure what I think about this limited viewing marketing campaign. On the one hand, it’s cool that they want you to watch it at night for the full, scary effect…. on the other, I don’t really like making appointments to get online just to watch a trailer.
