Michael Biehn’s never seen any Aliens sequels – and doesn’t want to

While the future of the ALIEN saga is in limbo right now due to Disney snatching up all things 20th Century Fox, at least ALIENS star Michael Biehn doesn't seem to mind as the man just admitted that not only has he never seen ALIEN 3, ALIEN: RESURRECTION, PROMETHEUS, or ALIEN: COVENANT, but he has no interest in seeing the ALIENS sequels either. 

Biehn explains why:

I've never seen anything past Aliens. I've never seen Aliens, 3, 4, 5. I didn't watch Covenant. I have no interest in anything like that. Any movie I'm close to or movies I wanted that I didn't get, I just don't watch them. There's no reason to put myself through the pain of 'I could have done so much better than that.

Now I think it's safe to say, with that reasoning in tow, maybe it's for the best that Biehn sat out the ALIEN films which followed James Cameron's classic. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love PROMETHEUS and much of ALIEN 3, but I could live the rest of my life without watching ALIEN: RESURRECTION and/or ALIEN: COVENANT again, thank you very much. 

The last ALIEN movie (that Biehn didn't bother to watch) was ALIEN: COVENANT. Directed by Ridley Scott the film followed this synopsis:

The crew of the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world. When they uncover a threat beyond their imagination, they must attempt a harrowing escape.

The film stars Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup, Danny McBride, Demián Bichir, James Franco, Carmen Ejogo, Amy Seimetz, Jussie Smollett, Callie Hernandez, Nathaniel Dean, Alexander England, and Benjamin Rigby. ALIEN COVENANT is now available on Blu-ray HERE.
