Michael Caine plans a major heist in King of Thieves international trailer

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

When they're done well, it's tough to beat a good heist film, and the upcoming KING OF THIEVES certainly looks as though it has the potential to stand out among its brethren. Starring Michael Caine (KINGSMAN: THE SECRET SERVICE), Jim Broadbent (PADDINGTON 2), Tom Courtenay (DAD'S ARMY), Charlie Cox (Daredevil), Michael Gambon (KINGSMAN: THE GOLDEN CIRCLE), Paul Whitehouse (THE DEATH OF STALIN), and Ray Winstone (NOAH), the James Marsh (THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING) film is based upon the incredible true story of the Hatton Garden robbery, one of the most daring heists in British criminal history. The real-life thieves made off with £200 million’s worth of valuables before they were apprehended; not a bad retirement fund, provided you can hang onto it.

KING OF THIEVES will hit theaters in the U.K. on September 14, 2018.
