One cannot deny the awesomeness that is Michael Rooker. He’s been in a shitload of movies, from hardcore horror (HENRY: PORTRAIT OF A SERIAL KILLER), to comedy (MALLRATS), to action (CLIFFHANGER), and just about everywhere in between. The guy’s a f*cking legend, so it’s nice to see him returning to the big screen once again with HYPOTHERMIA, and thanks to the boys at Bloody-D, we have a look at The Rook on set!

So what’s HYPOTHERMIA all about? Check it: In a remote winter hideaway devoid of any sign of life, two unsuspecting families on an ice-fishing vacation discover something sinister lurking in the frozen lake. One thing is for certain – the creature is hungry and the only prey left is human.

Sounds pretty awesome, no? And with The Rook in the house, it sounds even better. Plus, you know, getting hypothermia… that can be very serious, very scary stuff! Throw in a giant ice monster, and you have the fixins for something beyond your imagination. Or something like that.

The pic features The Rook and a beard… I mean, and director James Felix McKenney, taken straight from the set of production, which is scheduled to wrap today in upstate New York. That is one impressive beard, let me tell you!
