Just yesterday, Milla Jovovich shared with her fans a peek at a RESIDENT EVIL: THE FINAL CHAPTER make-up test being conducted in South Africa, where the film is being shot. It wasn’t anything mind-blowing, but hell, we’ll take it. Just like we’ll take yet another behind-the-scenes peek courtesy of the actress. As you can see below, Milla and hubby Paul W.S. Anderson are making sure Alice’s visage is camera-ready when production officially kicks off next week.

We don’t know much about THE FINAL CHAPTER’s story, but we can assume it picks up where RETRIBUTION left off, which was basically the end of the world. If this new one doesn’t end up being “the final chapter” after all, we’ll have to assume the next one takes place in outer space.

RESIDENT EVIL: THE FINAL CHAPTER opens January 17, 2017.
