Millennium Films has just adopted HELL BABY, the horror-comedy by Robert Ben Garant & Thomas Lennon for U.S. distribution. So far the plan is to have a fall release with it debuting on VOD first then going for a limited theatrical run.
Starring Rob Corddry, Leslie Bibb, Keegan Michael Key, Riki Lindhome, Paul Scheer and Rob Huebel, HELL BABY first premiered this year at Sundance to mediocre reviews.
In HELL BABY, an expectant couple moves into the most haunted fixer-upper in New Orleans – a house with a demonic curse. Things spiral out of control and soon only the Vatican’s elite exorcism team can save the pair – or can it?
From the sounds of it, HELL BABY under performed with its first screening so hopefully it finds an audience that will dig it once it hits VOD.
