Modern Horror Movie Talk episode covers 65: Adam Driver vs. dinosaurs

A new video series called Modern Horror Movie Talk recently made its premiere on the Arrow in the Head Show YouTube channel, and with each episode of this show we’ll be joining host Tyler Nichols as he covers all new horror releases, the latest horror movie news, and new horror trailers. Films discussed in the first episode of Modern Horror Movie Talk included Cocaine Bear, Eli Roth’s Thanksgiving, and The Pope’s Exorcist. The second episode covered the newly released entry in the Children of the Corn franchise, as well as the trailer for The Blackening. The third episode was a review of Scream VI. And now, for the fourth episode, Tyler is digging into the “Adam Driver vs. dinosaurs” movie 65 (read our review HERE)!

Coming to us from producer Sam Raimi and A Quiet Place (watch that one HERE) screenwriters Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, 65 reached theatres on March 10, the same day Scream VI was released. But it has only earned about one-third what Scream VI has made at the global box office. Beck and Woods have written and directed 65, which has the following synopsis: After a catastrophic crash on an unknown planet, pilot Mills quickly discovers he’s actually stranded on Earth — 65 million years ago. Now, with only one chance at a rescue, Mills and the only other survivor, Koa, must make their way across an unknown terrain riddled with dangerous prehistoric creatures.

Raimi and Zainab Azizi produced the film for Raimi Productions. Beck and Woods also produced, under their Beck/Woods banner, alongside Debbie Liebling. Beck and Woods previously worked with Raimi on 50 States of Fright, the anthology series he was producing for the now-defunct streaming service Quibi. That show is now available to watch on The Roku Channel.
