That X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE flick is racking up mutants like it’s going out of style. Today they picked up former one hit wonder island refugee Dominic Monaghan and some guy named Daniel Henney. The former hobbit will play a mutant named Barnell, a character from Wolvie’s past who can manipulate energy and electricity. Other guy Henney will play Agent Zero, a member of the Weapons X program with lethal marksman skills. So far, joining Hugh Jackman as the titular brooding, raging clawed animal are Liev Schreiber as Sabertooth, Danny Huston as William Stryker, Taylor Kitsch as Gambit, Will.i.am possibly as John Wraith, Lynn Collins as Silver Fox and Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool. The currently filming, Gavin Hood directed and David Benioff scripted flick unleashes all kinds of mutant action on May 1st, 2009.
