Moore writes trilogy

JoBloJoBlo

Ron Moore “Battlestar Galactica” mastermind Ron Moore has signed on to develop an original sci fi film for the Tom Cruise/Paula Wagner revived production company United Artists. That in and of itself is good news but he’s signed to develop an entire trilogy of original sci fi films. Considering BSG is essentially the greatest science fiction TV show ever conceived in the history of the universe, this is pretty exciting news. Granted, Moore was working with existing material on BSG but considering the way he re-invented the material and turned into the most spectacular space opera this or any other parallel universe has ever seen, the guy’s clearly got some aptitude for quality, relevant science fiction. Let’s just hope UA stays afloat long enough for these films to hit the big screen. The final season of BSG, in case you needed reminding, is currently airing on the Sci Fi Channel on Fridays at 10pm EST.
