There’s a few filmmaker/actor combinations out there that equal pure gold: Steven Spielberg and Tom Cruise, James Cameron and Arnold Schwarzenegger, and the ever combination of weird yet charming- Tim Burton and Johnny Depp. With this summer’s CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY, you know we’re in for a treat- but how about THE CORPSE BRIDE? Slap my ass and call me Susan, but this just might be the winning mother of combinations!

We have the awesome animation ala NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS, we have a whole slew of talented voices (Depp, Helena Boham Carter, Emily Watson), and music from none other than Danny ‘I make everything I touch awesome’ Elfman doing the music.

Today, Yahoo! has the new trailer up- and it’s awesome! Better than what we’ve seen before (which still rocked our socks off), this trailer has it all! Sweet narration, awesome music- and the animation is to die for! September is looking very fine my friends, very fine indeed.
