More go Crazies

JoBloJoBlo

Pouty-lipped cutie Danielle Panabaker, recently seen meeting machete-wielding madman Jason Voorhees in the FRIDAY THE 13th remake, will soon be dealing with more violent lunatics.

Panabaker (SKY HIGH, MR. BROOKS) has joined the remake of THE CRAZIES, teaming with Timothy Olyphant and Radha Mitchell in the new flick based on George Romero’s pre-DAWN virus movie.

Also joining the project is Joe Anderson, who you may recognize as the German tourist getting terrible medical treatment in the recent vegetation thriller THE RUINS.

The CRAZIES update comes from director Breck Eisner (SAHARA), and follows the same basic story: a deadly virus contaminates a town’s water supply and turns the residents insane with hostility, while the locals and military attempt to contain the rage-infected victims.
