More H2 casting

Only a few hours after Ammon broke the news that Ezra Buzzington will show up in Rob Zombie’s H2 comes more casting news of the “color me nonplussed” variety. Seems as though an actor named Jeff Daniel Phillips will be tackling the role of “Howard Boggs” – the bouncer at the strip joint “Rabbit in Red”.

Here’s a brief description of the character: HOWARD BOGGS – Caucasian – 6’4″ – age open. HOWARD is the huge, thick necked bouncer at the ‘Rabbit in Red’ night club. He’s not a pierced-tattooed-rocker type, but more of a hard workin’ fist fightin’ beer drinkin’ bouncer.

So just who the sam hell is Jeff Daniel Phillips? Well, all you lovers of those Caveman Geico commercials will be happy to know that Phillips IS that Caveman! He was also in the ill-fated “CAVEMEN” t.v. show that NBC threw onto the air about two years ago… I just wonder if his neck is thick enough for this role…

Obviously Zombie is fully into pre-production now (he’d better be, this thing is upposed to open on August 28th), so expect more casting news soon.

This chick was also in that Cavemen show… Imdb told me so…
