The folks over at “Hoy Cinema” blog “Movieland” have hit us with three Mexican posters for M. Night Shyamalan’s botanical insurrection horror thriller THE HAPPENING. There’s the same ominous clouds and crashed cars as one of the previous posters (in fact, one of them is the exact same poster that was released earlier) except with different landmarks and different states of chaos. And, in Mexico, the event in the film isn’t “happening” but heralds the “end of times” (it’s what the film’s Spanish title translates to). In the film, Mark Wahlberg, Zooey Deschanel and John Leguizamo realize something sinister is clearly happening when people all over the world start dispatching themselves in creatively gruesome ways. It all happens this Firday (June 13th). Click through to check out the other two posters.
