More home invasion antics in Joel Silver’s Home Invasion!

Another family is about to get their lives, and furniture, turned upside down by evil intruders in a microbudget thriller imaginatively titled HOME INVASION. Mega-producer Joel Silver and Voltage Pictures (THE HURT LOCKER) will shepherd the project under the former’s micro-budget label Zinc Entertainment.

Apparently the plot involves…

a family imprisoned in their own home by intruders who play a life and death game in which the mysterious rules become clear as the night unfolds.

The script was written by newcomer Joseph Dembner; HOME INVASION will be directed by first timer Sean Carter, who has worked as an editor on several documentary shorts.

Shooting begins in June.
