Last week, fellow serial killer Ammon reported on Robert Englund’s next film (from our buds at DC, of course). No, it’s not a return to Mr. Krueger (yet), it’s KILLER PAD, which marks Englund’s return to the director’s chair since 976-EVIL.

Today, Variety announced the film to the rest of the industry, along with some more info on the horror/comedy. The film will be produceed by Wayne Rice (DUDE, WHERE’S MY CAR?) and Avi Chesed through Rice Films, and is set to begin filming late next month in LA. The script was penned by Dan Stoller, and will star Shane McRae, Eric Jungman and Daniel Franzese. Rapper Master P will do the soundtrack (but will thankfully not act).

The story revolves around three friends who use money from an insurance claim to move out of their parents’ homes. They score a place in the Hollywood Hills and refuse to believe that the house has a dark history. Stay tuned for more on this puppy!
