PIRANHA 3D continues to cast up, creating a weird mixture of has-beens, up-and-comers, and never-will-be’s. So somethin’ for everyone!
You know by now that Elisabeth Shue is playing the lead role of the Sheriff of Lake Havesu, which is obviously in the midst of a biting fish problem, while Adam Scott is playing a diver for the US Geological Service. Also, Richard Dreyfuss is going to show up for some reason, and Ving Rhames will be portraying, I assume, Ving Rhames… So who else is on the chomping block?
Well, you have the always welcome Dina Meyer (STARSHIP TROOPERS, SAW 2 – 4), who will bring some sex appeal to the proceedings – most likely before being eaten alive while semi-nude. Then there’s a few other people, all of whom I’ve never heard of: Quinn Lord and Brooklynn Proulx – both youngsters – and Riley Steele (pictured below), who is so hot that she’s as good as dead. (Although this is an Alex Aja movie, maybe NO ONE is safe.)
