The prequel to Joe Carnahan’s kinetic hitman flick SMOKIN’ ACES just added some extra knuckles.
Full-time tough-guy Vinnie Jones is bringing his scowl and punching skills to the flick, playing (no surprise here) “a bloodthirsty and cunning assassin on the trail of a protected witness”, so sayeth my man Clint over at Moviehole.
SMOKIN’ ACES: BLOWBACK will also feature Martha Higareda (STREET KINGS), and the return of Christopher Holley (“Beanie”) and Maury Sterling (the littlest Tremor brother), along with the previously announced killers Tommy Flanagan (Lazlo Soot) and Nestor Carbonell (Diego).
The movie, directed by P.J. Pesce, also features Tom Berenger, David Richmond-Peck, Michael Parks, Merwin Mondesir, and in case you forgot, the indescribable hotness of Sofia Vergara.
