If you haven’t checked out the official site for “Rain of Madness” the documentary about the making of “Tropic Thunder” the movie within TROPIC THUNDER, you’re in for a treat. The site has been updated with videos featuring Ben Stiller, Jack Black, Robert Downey, Jr. and Steve Coogan. It’s amazing to me that there’s much extra footage from the film that is still this funny. Usually you cut a bunch of stuff out, watch it on the DVD and it’s a bunch of filler that you can see why they cut. Here I am scouring the web, finding myself unable to get enough of this stuff. If you tool around the “Rain of Madness” site you can also find the official sites for TROPIC THUNDER characters Tugg Speedman, Jeff Portnoy and Kirk Lazarus (as well as a site for Matthew McConaughey’s talent agency from the film). There’s so much good stuff, there’s enough for a sequel already. And they still haven’t released the trailer for SIMPLE JACK yet! C’mon Paramount! I’m not sure what your plans are but you’ve got to give us our fill of SIMPLE JACK. You can check it all out here and check back this week for my TROPIC THUNDER review!
