Mortal Kombat: studio releases first seven minutes ahead of release!

Warner Bros. has just uploaded the first seven minutes of the upcoming Mortal Kombat reboot, showing off some of the fight between Scorpion and Sub-Zero while they're still Hanzo Hasashi and Bi-Han, respectively. It's as brutal and awesome as you'd expect! Check it out at the top of the article, if you can't wait until the end of the week!

A washed-up mixed martial arts fighter named Cole Young is unaware of his hidden lineage or why he is being hunted down by Sub-Zero of the Lin-Kuei clan of assassins. Concerned for the safety of his family, he seeks out a clique of fighters that were chosen to defend Earthrealm in a high-stakes battle against the forces of Outworld in a inter-dimensional fighting tournament that occurs once in a generation. Appearances to be made by Shang Tsung, Goro, Jax Briggs, Sonya Blade, Kano, Scorpion and more fan favorites!

Meanwhile, Mortal Kombat – directed by Simon McQuoid and starring Lewis Tan, Joe Taslim, Josh Lawson, Jessica McNamee, Hiroyuki Sanada – will get over here to theaters and HBO Max April 23rd!
