Fangoria reports that Tobe Hopper’s MORTUARY started filming yesterday in Pomona, CA. As I’ve been following the preproduction, I’m happy to hear that they’ve finally started filming, meaning we’re that much closer to it’s release.
The flick’s about a family who takes over the job of running a funeral home… which happens to be right next door to a haunted cemetary. Don’t you hate when that happens? Writer Adam Gierasch (TOOLBOX MURDERS) has said that “If people like slime and vomiting and weird monsters, they’ll love this”! Well then, sign me up! Can’t get enough of those kind of movies!
MORTUARY reteams Hooper with producer Tony DiDio from TOOLBOX MURDERS, and stars Dan Byrd (‘SALEM’S LOT), Alexandra Adj (TEQUILA BODY SHOTS), hottie to the right Courtney Peldon (SKIN WALKER), and Price Carson (TOOLBOX MURDERS) among others.
