Oh Mother! We’ve been blessed with three, count ’em, Three clips from Dario Argento’s forthcoming MOTHER OF TEARS! And you can check ‘em all out below!
Mr. Argento’s latest bombardment of blood and boobs is about to hit select theaters tommorow, June 6th. Last month, my man Eric showed you all which theaters would be showing it. I’ve heard mixed reactions towards MOTHER so far (do check out The Arrow’s less-than-positive review here). I believe it’s pretty high in the “camp” department as you’ll see in the “Airport” clip below. I also highly recommend the ridiculously over-the-top “Gut-Spiller” clip (I don’t know what the f*ck is going on in that one).
Take a look one last time at MOTHER’s plot: Set in modern-day Rome, the film tells the story of Sarah Mandy (Asia Argento), a young art student who unwittingly opens an ancient urn that unleashes the demonic power of the world’s most powerful witch, The Mother of Tears. As the Mother’s minions and henchman wreak havoc, Sarah finds herself caught up in a vicious triangle – on the run from both the police, who suspect her of murder, and the Mother’s minions who want to destroy her. When she discovers that she has a personal connection to the evil being, she realizes she is the only one who can stop her path of destruction.” It’s opening in limited release tomorrow with more dates to follow, and as always, stars Mr. Argento’s sultry daughter, Asia.
