A Toy Story 4 sneak peek will touch down after the Super Bowl

Word of Disney's plans for the Super Bowl have emerged from the toy chest! Okay, so maybe these words are only related to TOY STORY 4, so far, but we'll take what we can get, right? Earlier today, Disney/Pixar announced via Twitter that the toys-to-life sequel will be getting its own sneak peek presentation after the events of Super Bowl LIII. That's right, folks. You won't have to play 'I, Spy' during the commercial breaks to check out a brief preview of director Josh Cooley's Toy Story installment. Instead, you can just sit back, relax, and enjoy the footage while you're busy cursing the game's final score.

Here is Disney's tweet announcing the sneak peek:

While not much has been revealed about the plot for TOY STORY 4, we do know that Woody and the gang will meet a new toy named Forky, who then joins them on a road trip that exposes the toys to a world that's bigger than they'd ever anticipated. Unless you're talking about a sequel to TOY STORY 4!

In addition to starring the voices of TOY STORY alums Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Annie Potts, Michael Keaton, Timothy Dalton, Kristen Schall, and John Ratzenberger, TOY STORY 4 is set to gain the talents of Keanu Reeves, Patricia Arquette, Keegan-Michael Key, Jordan Peele, Laurie Metcalf, and Bonnie Hunt, among others.

Enjoy the game, sports fans! TOY STORY 4 is set for a June 21, 2019 release.
