Director Sam Mendes and Sony made their big BOND 24 announcement this morning , and as you can probably tell from the image above, the next Bond flick will be called SPECTRE. SPECTRE (which stands for SPecial Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion) is a supranational criminal organization that has appeared in multiple Bond movies like DR. NO, FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE and DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER.

Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Rory Kinnear, Naomie Harris and Ben Whishaw will return as James Bond, M, Bill Tanner, Moneypenny and Q (respectively), and the new cast members are Christoph Waltz (as Oberhauser), Dave Bautista (as Mr. Hinx), Monica Belluci (as Lucia Sciarra), Andrew Scott (as Denbigh) and Lea Seydoux (as Madeleine Swann).

Synopsis:

A cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE.

It was also revealed during the live event the new car in SPECTRE will be the Aston Martin DB10, and the first poster for the upcoming film has been released as well. Are you digging the title and cast for the new Bond movie?

SPECTRE will be released in U.K. theaters on October 23, 2015, and it'll open in the U.S. on November 6.
