Eastwood scores Grace

Clint Eastwood Unstoppable septuagenarian bad ass Clint Eastwood is stepping into one of his lesser known hats for writer/director James Strouse’ upcoming directorial debut GRACE IS GONE – that of composer. The film stars John Cusack as a father of two young girls who decides to take them on a cross country road trip when he gets word that his soldier wife has been killed in Iraq in an effort to delay having to tell them the truth. When asked about Eastwood’s involvement, renowned ball buster Harvey Weinstein, who’s Weinstein Co. is producing the flick, had this to say: “For years, Clint Eastwood has been composing some of the most dynamic and powerful film scores and we are honored that he is bringing this unparalleled talent to Grace is Gone. His unique understanding of the power of music and how it can impact a film will inspire audiences and is a beautiful companion to James Strouse’s touching story.” Right on, brother. The film opens October 5th.
