First official image of Tom Hardy from George Miller’s Mad Max: Fury Road

Now before some of you start yelling at me, I did say "first" official image, not "new" official image. AICN has a great look at Tom Hardy as Mad Max in the upcoming MAD MAX: FURY ROAD, but it is the exact same picture as the one that surfaced online back in December. Kind of lame, but here it is:

MAD MAX: FURY ROAD has had some trouble making its way to the big screen, and it was recently announced that the main cast will return to Australia for additional filming. In my opinion, Warner Bros. releasing a first official image that is the same as a leaked one from nine months ago is not a good sign. Do they really not have any new pictures of Tom Hardy as Mad Max? Hell, I'd even settle for images of Charlize Theron or Nicholas Hoult from George Miller's film. Hopefully I'm wrong and the new movie will end up being just as great as the first three with Mel Gibson, but right now I'm a little worried about MAD MAX: FURY ROAD.

MAD MAX: FURY ROAD should be in theaters sometime in 2014.
