Forrest Gump Button

Much has been made about the similarities between THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON and FORREST GUMP. I haven’t yet seen BUTTON, but it had former Joblo writer Ben Barna in tears, blubbering like a chubby, overgrown infant, so I’m assuming it hits all the right notes. As for it’s comparison to GUMP, the filmmakers should be flattered to stand next to a film that many of us hold in the highest esteem. I guarantee I’m not the only one who wishes Bubba was sleeping next to me each night.

That’s neither here nor there. Someone decided to make a montage, comparing various scenes from the two films, and waddya know? Same they are!
