Has Marvel made an offer to Bradley Cooper to voice Rocket Raccoon in Guardians of the Galaxy?

Cooper/Rocket Raccoon

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY is currently filming, yet they still don't have anyone to do the voice for Rocket Raccoon. According to Latino-Review though, Marvel may have finally found someone and that person is Bradley Cooper. A source for the site says while an offer from Marvel has been made to Cooper's reps, he has not accepted it yet so nothing is official. Plus, there's always a chance a source could be wrong: what if he didn't hear it right and they were actually talking about Dominic Cooper? I'm kidding, but you get my point.

I am slightly disappointed, only because some of the other names rumored sounded fantastic. It's taken some time for me to warm up to Cooper, however he should do an excellent job and is a good fit for the part.

If he does accept the part, Bradley Cooper will be joining Chris Pratt (Peter Quill/Star-Lord), Zoe Saldana (Gamora), Dave Bautista (Drax the Destroyer), Michael Rooker (Yondu) and maybe Vin Diesel (Groot). GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY has an awesome cast and I have extremely high hopes for James Gunn's film. I hate to use the word quirky to describe GOTG, but the film really does look like it's going to be full of some odd fun.

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY is in theaters August 1st, 2014.
