Hot Toys’ 1/6 scale figure of David Harbour’s Hellboy is a thing of beauty

Unfortunately, HELLBOY has been far from the commercial and critical success which Lionsgate had hoped for, but that doesn't mean that something good can't come out of it. David Harbour's Hellboy will live on as a 1/6 scale figure as Hot Toys have given Big Red their customary touch. Standing a little over a foot tall and featuring 20 points of articulation, Hot Toys' highly-accurate collectible figure of Hellboy features "a newly developed head sculpt with two styles of interchangeable horns translating all the intricate details, a specially painted body showing detailed skin texture with enhanced articulations, perfectly tailored outfit, an array of weapons and accessories including the iconic Excalibur sword, pistols, sword of fire and lighting effect accessory for alternative display styles, a movie-themed figure stand with burning flame diorama accessories and character backdrop."

Not bad. Not bad at all. As HELLBOY has received negative reviews as well as a disappointing box-office, this figure might just be your best chance at acting out a sequel for yourself. With a price tag of $266, this Hellboy figure is slated for release somewhere between April-June 2020.

The official synopsis for HELLBOY:

Hellboy is back, and he’s on fire. From the pages of Mike Mignola’s seminal work, this action packed story sees the legendary half-demon superhero (David Harbour, “Stranger Things”) called to the English countryside to battle a trio of rampaging giants. There he discovers The Blood Queen, Nimue (Milla Jovovich, Resident Evil series), a resurrected ancient sorceress thirsting to avenge a past betrayal. Suddenly caught in a clash between the supernatural and the human, Hellboy is now hell-bent on stopping Nimue without triggering the end of the world.

HELLBOY is now playing in theaters, so be sure to check out a review from our own Chris Bumbray!
