Lawrence Kasdan helped pen the scripts for three Star Wars movies, including THE FORCE AWAKENS, and is sharing scripting duties with his son Jon Kasdan on the Han Solo Anthology film from Phil Lord and Chris Miller, but the latter just might be his final writing contributions to the franchise.

In an interview with the German newspaper Bild (translated by The Supernaughts), Kasdan was quoted as saying "I did four Star Wars movies. That’s more than enough." The screenwriter went on to say at first he wasn't interested in being involved with the Han Solo flick, but agreed to co-write it with the younger Kasdan because his "family loved the idea." Kasdan also said he'd like to get back into directing.

Well, that sucks, but Kasdan has definitely left his mark on the franchise, I wouldn't be surprised if he (at the very least) stays on as producer for the upcoming installments in the series and/or the other planned anthology movies.

In other Star Wars news, Entertainment Weekly has unveiled the four collector's covers for its THE FORCE AWAKENS special double issue, featuring Han Solo, Rey, Finn, and R2-D2 and C-3PO, which you can check out below.

STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS opens on December 18th, while the Han Solo spinoff has been set to be released on May 25, 2018.
