Listen to the heroic Justice League theme from Danny Elfman

A superhero is only as good as their music, because if they can’t fly into the fray or have a sweet entrance then what good are they? The Justice League are not above this, so the soundtrack for their upcoming movie needs to have a killer sound if fans are to really immerse themselves in all the heroics. The movie doesn’t come out for a few weeks, but you can get a taste for the music now by listening to the movie’s "Hero's Theme" from Danny Elfman above. If you're wondering if the music will make the movie feel like a Tim Burton flick, don't worry, the answer is only "kind of."

The theme is, well, it feels weird to listen to it without having heard the rest of the soundtrack. As a standalone piece of music it's alright I suppose. It doesn't really wow me, but it's okay. The theme is only one piece of the grander soundtrack, and it will probably be more effective when paired with the movie itself. But is it too much to ask for Elfman to include even a teenie, tiny bit of his BATMAN and BATMAN RETURNS work? Just a little bit would make me soooo happy.

JUSTICE LEAGUE with Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Ray Fisher, Jason Momoa and Ezra Miller arrives November 17
