More from Spartans duo

If you're one of the many who went to see MEET THE SPARTANS, demanded their money back and then hoped the people who made that movie would never make another movie again, prepare to have your hopes dashed. Lionsgate has begun filming in an untitled comedy from SPARTANS writers and directors Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer. Precious little is known about the plot of the movie and which genre it attempts to spoof but it will star Carmen Electra and Kim Kardashian. So while the jokes may be lame, at least you know the acting is going to be top notch. Also sullying their resume with an acting role in this film are Matt Lanter, Vanessa Minnillo, G-Thang, Nicole Parker, Crista Flanagan and Ike Barinholtz. The best part about this? Lionsgate is looking for a release this year. This summer. The studio has already set an August 29th release date. Filming begins TODAY in Shreveport, LA. In related news, I couldn't be more depressed that I actually Googled "Kim Kardashian" today. UPDATE - Clint from Moviehole checks in to let us know the film is titled GOODY TWO SHOES and is a spoof of blockbuster comedies like SUPERBAD, SEX AND THE CITY and HANCOCK. Which would mean they're spoofing movies that haven't even come out yet. Awesome.

Extra Tidbit: Kardashian scored a cool $5 million for her sex tape.
