If there's anything Peter Berg (LONE SURVIVOR, THE RUNDOWN) knows how to do, it's throw together an entertaining action sequence. His latest feature, LONE SURVIVOR, really turned up the tension regarding a Navy SEAL team left to fend for themselves. This new ad for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare re-teams Berg with LONE SURVIVOR star Taylor Kitsch and delivers an adrenaline-pumping, first-person action sequence set in 2059 Lagos.
Pretty enjoyable for what it was, much like the one starring Sam Worthington and Jonah Hill from a few years back. Given that games are becoming more and more cinematic, I'm really digging crossovers like this where they bring in notable actors and directors to tackle a game's theme. Considering how well Berg pulled this off, one wonders if he'd be interested in doing a BLACK HAWK DOWN set in the future. I'd be down!
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare hits PS4, PS3, XBOX ONE, XBOX 360 and PC on November 3.
Emily Ratajkowski wasn't a bad addition either…
