MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 6 began filming last week and of course what we’re all pumped for is seeing Mr. Cruise doing whatever amazing stunt he’s gonna do while suspended from whatever it is that’s hanging over a pit of sharks. But there are plenty of cast members that will be making a welcome return, including Rebecca Ferguson as Ilsa, the badass woman of the group who kick ass right alongside Cruise. The director Christopher McQuarrie posted a picture of the actress on the set of the movie, looking quite business-like. And your eyes are not deceiving you, that is a halo above her head…because she is an angel…who can kill you.
These last two MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE movies (and now three) have done a great job at including ass-kicking females, with Paula Patton throwing punks out of windows in GHOST PROTOCOL and Ferguson showing off some sick movies in ROGUE NATION. It sucks we can’t have both ladies in the movie, but I’m down to watch Ferguson do her thing. Maybe she can top Cruise by jumping off the world’s highest building, landing on a plane that’s taking off and then parachuting over a pit of sharks.
