The set-up for THE HATEFUL EIGHT can be summed up in one sentence, so the trailer really doesn't need to dive much into the story per se. Rather, this film rests on the shoulders of all the colorful characters who will inhabit this cabin. Russell and Leigh steal the show here, but given the writer/director we're dealing with, I'm sure the other characters will all get their moments to shine.
