We received word a few weeks back about the release date for the CONJURING spin-off flick, ANNABELLE, and now the first trailer is here to garner your interest. This preview actually lingers quite a bit for a trailer, but I imagine it’s the bulk of the set-up from the beginning of the film. In any regard, I’m sure it’ll do its job and fill some seats this Halloween.

I haven’t seen THE CONJURING, but this looks to have the ingredients of your typical scary flick. I’ll tell you what; that woman must be one hell of an actor to be thankful to receive a doll looking like that! That thing is just asking for trouble! If I was her, I would immediately burn the doll, collect the ashes and mail it to my enemies. Looks like the movie is going to go a different way, though.
ANNABELLE, starring Annabelle Wallis, Alfre Woodard, Ward Horton, and Brian Howe, will creep its way into theaters on October 3, 2014.
