Voice acting legend Steve Blum reads A Die Hard Christmas

This holiday season, Sideshow and Insight Editions are inviting you curl up beside a roaring yule log with legendary voice actor Steve Blum, to delight in a reading of A Die Hard Christmas, a new book written by Doogie Horner with illustrations by JJ Harrison.

Described by Blair Marnell of Nerdist as, "the Christmas book we never knew we needed," DIE HARD: THE ILLUSTRATED HOLIDAY CLASSIC combines the action, adventure, and foul-mouthed awesomeness of the McTiernan movie with a picture-book charm that would be right at home in any heartwarming Christmas special.

As an added bonus to this holiday treat, Sideshow has released a video featuring Steve Blum – the fan-favorite voice behind hundreds of movies, TV shows, and video games – to read the R-rated novel using his deep and iconic vocal stylings. What's that? You're not familiar with Steve Blum? Well, he's only the voice behind COWBOY BEEBOP's Spike Speigel, Mugen in SAMURAI CHAMPLOO, Star scream in TRANSFORMERS: PRIME, Wolverine in WOLVERINE AND THE X-MEN, and Zeb Orrelios in STAR WARS: REBELS among countless other projects across the geek entertainment spectrum. What's more is that he's wearing a Santa hat in the video, which is bound to put a smile on your face, regardless of how much of a Grinch you turn into this time of the year.

You can watch Blum's presentation of the book below:

Furthemore, if you'd like to purchase your very own copy of A Die Hard Christmas, be sure to click here. The book is currently on sale for $13.39, a steal that even Hans Gruber would want to get his greasy, conniving mits on. Enjoy, and welcome to the party, pal!
