SPOILER WARNING!

Quick note, before I get into the weeds. We all know there is a sickness in some people who simply get off on spoiling things like this. They're the worst of the worst. And while we always do our best to keep an eye out for such things, the bottom line is that these trolls always find a way to ruin things. With that said, hopefully people will be respectful in the comments below (or at least put a SPOILER warning ahead of their comments), but I'd caution anyone that hasn't seen the film yet to avoid going into that dungeon lest you get eaten up by the spoiler trolls. When you've seen the film and are ready to comment, then come on back and share your thoughts. Until then, reader beware.

With box office records being broken on a near daily basis even prior to its wide release, AVENGERS: ENDGAME is set to be a true theatrical phenomenon. The culmination of ten years' worth of storytelling, coming in at just over three hours, the final chapter in the MCU's The Infinity Saga has reached hype levels we've rarely seen for a franchise. Not since Star Wars or Lord of the Rings has a film garnered so much hype and with last year's cliffhanger in AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR, audiences are more than ready to jump back into this world to see how it all plays out. Joe and Anthony Russo are back at the helm (having shot Endgame back-to-back with Infinity War) with a team that consists mainly of our Phase One heroes, minus a few new additions (and surely, we'll see many of the others lost in "the snap" return in some capacity). But, with so much hype, anticipation and excitement, can this final chapter live up to expectations?

Early ticket sales alone would indicate that audiences believe ENDGAME can reach the bar, but what about the critics? Our own Chris Bumbray saw the film on Tuesday and in his cryptic and spoiler-free 8/10 review, said, "AVENGERS: ENDGAME is an epic conclusion to the MCU so far which also sets the stage for new ways for the universe to branch off. People who’ve been along on this journey for the last eleven years won’t be able to help getting emotional by the time the credits roll and that’s understandable." I for one, am ready for the Avengers to Assemble and hope for a satisfying and earned finale to a decaade of stories that have all led to this. Given the MCU's mostly spot-on track record, my expectations are for something amazing and bittersweet.

And with that, now it's your turn! We want to hear what YOU thought of the film! Naturally, we'd prefer you to comment only if you've seen the film as that's the point here, but do what feels good. Just don't get mad if you get trounced for trolling or posting blatant spoilers in headlines. Healthy debate, genuine thoughts, and respectful interactions is all we ask.

Is AVENGERS: ENDGAME the satisfying conclusion you hoped for or did it fall short of expectations?
