Building on the casting news revealed last week, MTV has set two more actresses for “Scream”, the TV version of the classic horror franchise. Plus a director, not Wes Craven, has been found to helm the pilot episode.

In addition to the previously reported Amadeus Serafini, John Karna and Carlson Young, Willa Fitzgerald (Alpha House, Royal Pains) and Amy Forsyth (Torment, Reign) have been tapped to fill two key female roles in the show. Fitzgerald will play Emma Duval, a classic beauty whose new life with the “in crowd” has estranged her from childhood best friend Audrey (Forsyth). Audrey is the daughter of a Lutheran pastor and an artsy loner who aspires to be a filmmaker.

Jamie Travis, who has directed several episodes of the network’s hit comedy “Faking It” will direct the first episode. Jay Beattie and Dan Dworkin (Criminal Minds, The Event, and Revenge) wrote the original script.
