Fans of binge-watching that are excited for NBC's upcoming "Aquarius" will find this bit of news intriguing as THR is reporting that the same night of the "Aquarius" two-hour premiere (May 28), all 13 episodes of the drama will also be released on NBC.com, the NBC app and VOD. So if the premiere grabs ya, you won't have to wait week to week to see the series!

Taking a page out of Netflix's playbook by adopting the all-at-once model that has made binge-watching new series so much fun NBC is hoping that they'll have a hit on their hands with "Aquarius". NBC Entertainment Chairman Bob Greenblatt shares…

“With Aquarius we have the opportunity to push some new boundaries to give our audience something no broadcast network has done before. We are fully aware how audiences want to consume multiple episodes of new television series faster and at their own discretion, and we’re excited to offer our viewers this same experience since all 13 episodes of this unique show have been produced and are ready to be seen."

What I wouldn't give for NBC to do the same thing with the upcoming season of "Hannibal". Hey, a boy can dream, right?

The full 13 episodes of "Aquarius" will remain up on the various digital platforms for a four-week period, while each new one-hour episode will continue to premiere, as planned, each week in the 9 p.m. Thursday timeslot on NBC.

What it’s about:

In 1967, Los Angeles police sergeant Sam Hodiak (Duchovny) is helped in a missing persons case by undercover officer Brian Shafe (Grey Damon), who behaves like a hippie and fits in with the people being questioned. Unknown to them, their investigation will lead them to Charles Manson.

"Aquarius" stars David Duchovny (X-Files), Gaius Charles (Grey’s Anatomy), Grey Damon (Star-Crossed), Michaela McManus (The Vampire Diaries), David Meunier (Justified), Emma Dumont (Bunheads), Chris Sheffield (The Last Ship) and Gethin Anthony (Game of Thrones).
