Neil Marshall working on WWII alien invasion film?

Neil Marshall is one of those guys with a hundred “maybes” on his plate. The guy racks up lots of projects, including BURST 3D and UNDERGROUND, but still doesn’t appear to have a solid follow-up to CENTURION. I know it’s not easy getting a film made in this town, but it’s just frustrating to hear the announcements but not see progress. Let’s call it the “Guillermo del Toro Syndrome”, shall we?

That said, Marshall has something rather cool-sounding up his sleeve for his potential next; as you’ll see in the video below – posted by Live For Films – the DESCENT director explains that he’s “chasing twelve different projects” but has his sights set on one in particular, which he’s writing right now: A “World War II alien invasion film”.
