The OA Netflix Brit Marling

Netflix's surprise series The OA, which was created by actress Brit Marling, only has a couple more days to build buzz before its debut, so they've launched two preview clips of the show depicting a Stranger Things-esque vibe that's mighty intriguing. The first, "The Scientist," is a chilling intro to the character, and the second, "Little Girl" adds to the mystery. Check them both out below!

In the eight-episode first season, which was directed by Zal Batmanglij, Marling stars as

Prairie Johnson, a missing blind woman who finally returns to her family after seven years with her sight restored. Though Prairie is said to "remember everything," she refuses to talk about what happened to her during her time away from home, leaving viewers to contemplate what exactly befell her all those years ago.

Also in the cast are Emory Cohen, Scott Wilson, Phyllis Smith, Jason Isaacs, Alice Krige, Patrick Gibson, and Brendan Meyer. The full season will stream on Friday, December 16th.
