Netflix releases a trailer for The Devil All The Time, starring Tom Holland

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

As of September 16th, director Antonio Campos's "midwestern gothic" film THE DEVIL ALL THE TIME will be available to watch on the Netflix streaming service, and today Netflix has released a trailer to entice viewers to check it out. Many were already guaranteed to watch this movie as soon as the cast list was announced, but if you need to see a bit more than the names of the actors, press play on the video embedded above.

Written by Campos and his brother Paulo, THE DEVIL ALL THE TIME stars Tom Holland, Bill Skarsgard, Riley Keough, Jason Clarke, Sebastian Stan, Haley Bennett, Eliza Scanlen, Mia Wasikowska, Robert Pattinson, Harry Melling, and Pokey LaFarge.

Described as a "suspenseful, finely-woven tale", the film is based on a novel by Donald Ray Pollock (which you can buy HERE) and has the following synopsis:

Some people are just born to be buried.

In Knockemstiff, Ohio and its neighboring backwoods, sinister characters — an unholy preacher (Pattinson), twisted couple (Clarke and Keough), and crooked sheriff (Stan) — converge around young Arvin Russell (Holland) as he fights the evil forces that threaten him and his family. Spanning the time between World War II and the Vietnam war, director Antonio Campos’ THE DEVIL ALL THE TIME renders a seductive and horrific landscape that pits the just against the corrupted.

I'm totally on board for this one, I'm really looking forward to watching it next month.
