Patton Oswalt, Jerry Seinfeld, Netflix, comedy

I know a lot of people who could really use a good laugh right about now, and so it is my pleasure to report that both Patton Oswalt and Jerry Seinfeld are headed to Netflix for the launch of their new stand-up comedy specials.

Seinfeld's special, titled 23 Hours To Kill, will debut exclusively on the streamer on May 5. Shot at New York’s legendary Beacon Theater, the title refers to the time a comedian has to kill in a day before the hour they are set to take the stage. The comedy event marks Seinfeld's second stand-up special for Netflix, following the debut of 2017's Jerry Before Seinfeld.

As for Oswalt, the M.O.D.O.K. voice actor and BROOKLYN NINE-NINE guest star will debut his new special I Love Everything on Netflix come May 19. According to the special's description, Oswalt's latest routine will find him embracing his 50s, riffing on the trials and tribulations of purchasing a new home , and how attending his daughter's 2nd grade art show cost him the opportunity to take a tour of the Millennium Falcon. In addition to I Love Everything, Oswalt will also host a one-hour special focusing on veteran comedian Bob Rubin titled Bob Rubin: Oddities & Rarities.

Will you be tuning in for either special? Who do you think would win in a fight? Oswalt or Seinfeld? My money's on Oswalt, because while I'm certain that Seinfeld is a slippery sort, Oswalt looks like he'd come out biting if you were to back him into a corner. Place your bets in the comments section below. Just for fun, of course.
