Last month we saw the first glimpse trailer of Zack Snyder’s 300, based on the graphic novel by Frank Miller (SIN CITY). The trailer has since been removed, and my need to dine in hell with a couple of badass Spartan’s has grown because of it. I know, I need to get a life, but that trailer was awesome!

Today Apple has posted a brand new trailer for 300 in all of it’s QuickTime glory, and while it’s a bit shorter and not as full length as the previous one… it’s still f*cking awesome!!! To check out what I mean, go ahead and click HERE and relish in how cool it looks, and how absolutely savage it’s going to be. Seriously, the trailer itself bleeds adrenaline and sweats testosterone, expanding the notion that this flick will leave previous ‘swords and sandals’ epics in the dust (yeah GLADIATOR, I’m talkin’ to you!).

In case you live in a hole, 300 is a ferocious retelling of the ancient Battle of Thermopylae in which King Leonidas (Gerard Butler) and 300 Spartans fought to the death against Xerxes and his massive Persian army. Facing insurmountable odds, their valor and sacrifice inspire all of Greece to unite.

Word. Check out the TRAILER, go make some pancakes, and prepare for the Spartans to unite in theaters March 9th, 2007.
