New Antichrist pics!

Lars Von Trier’s bizarre and intriguing arty horror effort ANTICHRIST will be hitting the Cannes Film Festival this May as an Official Selection, meaning it’ll be competing (against INGLORIOUS BASTERDS, among others) for the coveted Palme d’Or. While we still don’t know when it’ll land on North American shores, it’ll be hitting von Trier’s native Denmark on MAY 29th, then moving on to Sweden, France, Spain, Italy, and Belgium in early June.

For now, we must feast on these new pics, which are appropriately moody and foreboding. Even a little sexy… Except for the one of von Trier where it looks like he just murdered a bird. That doesn’t do anything for me.
