Ahh AVATAR, you divider of fanboys, it’s been a while. Last I saw of you, you were underwhelming me with some of your trailer, while still not completely crushing my hopes. You’re a mysterious case, you are, and if you weren’t directed by James Cameron, I think I’d have little to no use for you… Still, I’m intrigued. Lemme buy you a drink!
A few new pictures from the sci-fi epic (cartoon?), which opens this DECEMBER. While I remain dubious (I still don’t like the look of the Na’vi), all indications are that this film absolutely must be seen on the big screen, in 3-D. I will be there opening weekend, with expectations firmly in check.
This is the first we’ve seen – I think – of Sigourney Weaver, and damn if she don’t still look good. You also get a peek at Sam Worthington, Joel David Moore, Michelle Rodriguez (looking pretty good herself), and Zoe Saldana (yes, that’s her in the above pic).
